International cooperation

The main areas of international cooperation of the department are:

• Inviting foreign scientists to give lectures to students, undergraduates and doctoral students, including under the «Visiting Professor» program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• External academic mobility of students and scientific internship of master's and doctoral students.
• Participation of the faculty of the department in giving lectures at partner universities
• Participation of the faculty of the department in international conferences, exhibitions, etc.
• Joint publications and scientific research of the faculty of the department with foreign colleagues.
• Development of integrated educational programs, joint educational programs, double degree programs.

Academic mobility is carried out through the implementation of the following mechanisms:

• departure of students for theoretical and practical training abroad in educational programs as part of a semester exchange;
• organizing a summer semester with the invitation of teachers and students from other universities to ensure mobility;
• organizing internships for teaching staff at other universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad in order to expand academic exchange;

The educational program 5B072800-«Technology of Processing Industries» was accredited on July 15, 2013 by the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs in the Field of Engineering, Computer Science, Natural Sciences and Mathematics ASIIN (Germany) and by the same Agency on March 28, 2014 the educational program 5B072800-«Technology of Processing Industries» awarded the honorary sign «Eurobachelor in Engineering» (EUR-ACE®).

Partners in educational and scientific activities are universities and research institutes from countries far and near abroad:

• Mendel University (Czech Republic, Brno)
